OPEN SHOW

Showing at the Massena Public Library during their regular business hours

​

Registration is open to both student and adult artists within 100 miles and is limited to 3 entries per artist.

The fee is $1.00 for Students and $5.00 for adults.

Registration cost covers all 3 entries.

2 dimensional work must be no larger than 40x40, be framed or gallery wrapped and be ready to hang.
(Wire only, NO sawtooth hangers)
Three dimensional works will be accepted depending on size (please contact us with dimensions).

All work must be original and completed within the last 5 years. Award winning works from any previous Massena Artists Association shows and exhibitions are not eligible.

The exhibition is open to all media, including oil and acrylic painting, pastel, watercolor, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, and digital art.

 WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE MASSENA PUBLIC LIBRARY:

 Wednesday February 15, 2023 5:00-7:00 pm,

 Saturday February 18, 2023 10:00am-12:30 pm

OPENING RECEPTION:

Saturday March 4,2023  11am-12:00pm.  Awards at 11:30am 

SHOW CLOSES:

March 25, 2023.

Please pick up work on March 25 9:30am -1:00pm or March 27 9:30 am - 5:00pm
 

AWARDS:

First, Second and Third place ribbons will be awarded to the top three works in BOTH the student and adult categories.

Three members of the Massena Artists Association will judge the student’s artwork and 3 students led by an assigned art educator will judge the adult’s artwork.

Art submitted for the show may be designated for sale. Massena Artists Association will arrange the
sale directly between the artist and buyer.

Massena Artists Association reserves the right to reject submissions if they feel the subject matter is
inappropriate, or the size of the artwork is too large to reasonably display.

The Massena Artists Association and the Massena Public Library do not assume responsibility for loss or damage to any work while on the premises. Reasonable care will be given.
